My Story - Timothy Kuchanny

Decades ago, I embarked on my journey as a young family man, having just qualified for my ACCA with a newborn daughter in my arms. Driven to provide for my family and make my family and friends proud, I poured my heart and soul into my career. I’ve always been fortunate to possess a natural aptitude for demystifying complex concepts, which made accounting feel like a calling. My passion, dedication, and hard work earned me the respect and appreciation of my employers and clients alike.

However, as time went on, I found myself at a crossroads. My unwavering commitment to ethical accounting clashed with the expectations of some employers who sought to produce financial reports that did not align with our company’s objectives or the value our clients deserved. It was a difficult decision because all my life, I have been a people pleaser and I don’t even know whether is a good or bad thing however, I summoned the courage to leave that environment and establish Platinum Accounting Services Ltd, a practice rooted in integrity, inclusivity, community, professionalism, and exceptional service.

The journey has been challenging, yet immensely rewarding. My team and I have proudly delivered exceptional service to our clients through dedication, ongoing training, and a commitment to excellence. We are grateful for what we have achieved and strive to meet our client’s needs while fostering a supportive environment for our team to grow professionally. My guiding ethos is simple: to make the world a better place, one set of accounts at a time.
